About Me
At age nine, I was diagnosed with cataracts. As I grew older, this personal challenge fueled my passion for helping children with vision impairments, leading to the creation of the ‘Gift-of-Sight’ program. In collaboration with leading organizations such as Shroff Charity Eye Hospital, Swaraj Vikas Foundation, and People for Action, the program facilitates the collection and donation of used eyewear to underprivileged children granting them the gift of sight, enhancing their quality of life, and promoting sustainability by reducing plastic waste. Over time, the program has expanded across multiple countries and schools, empowering a network of youth ambassadors who raise awareness, organize eyewear collection drives, and advocate for accessible eye care. Their dedication has been instrumental in amplifying our impact, fostering a global movement of young changemakers committed to restoring vision and transforming lives.
